We provide in-home, community, and teletherapy services for kids and adults in San Francisco, and neighboring cities.

Services

Our Services​

We support individuals with: Articulation Disorders, Phonological Processes, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Receptive and/or Expressive Language Disorders, School Age Language Delays, Reading Comprehension, Social Skills (Pragmatics), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), AAC, etc.

We can provide the documentation necessary for reimbursement to your insurance company. We are not taking insurance at the moment. We are currently only serving families in the San Francisco/Bay Area.

  • Initial Consultation 

  • Parent Training 

  • IEP/IFSP Training

  • AAC Parent Training 

  • Initial consultation: Initial consultation involves a 30-minute phone or Zoom initial consultation meeting to screen for speech-language concerns and create an action plan. If parents/guardians decide to move forward with speech services, parent questionnaires and other essential documents must be completed before the next meeting.

  • Speech and/or Language Evaluation

  • Bilingual evaluation

  • AAC trial evaluation

  • Standard Speech and/or Language Evaluation: Unless otherwise specified by the speech-language pathologist, a complete evaluation would be recommended. A typical evaluation consists of gathering background information, completing observations, and administering formal and informal assessments. A hearing and vision screening must be completed prior to the evaluation. A meeting will be scheduled to discuss the results and recommendations once the assessment is completed. A written report will be provided to you at or before that meeting.

  • Home-based therapy sessions:  Each session lasts 55 minutes (45 minutes of direct services and 10 minutes for parent/guardian consult/check-in). *Bilingual therapy sessions are also available.

  • Teletherapy: Teletherapy options are available for AAC, speech, and/or language services. The sessions can be conducted via Google Meet or Zoom. Each session last 55 minutes (45 minute direct services and 10 minutes for parent/guardian consult/check-in). Hybrid, in-person, and virtual options are also available

Diana V Angeles MS., CCC-SLP is the founder of Words To Share- Speech and Language Therapy Services. She is an active and certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a license to practice in the state of California. She also holds a teaching credential to work in the public schools in CA.  Diana is a native Spanish speaker who conducts assessment and deliveries therapy in both English and Spanish. She also speaks conversational Portuguese. 
 
Diana received her B.A and M.S in Communication Disorders from San Francisco State University (SFSU) with a specialization in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). 
Diana has extensive experience working with children and adults across different settings. She started her career serving students with multiple disabilities in public schools. She also has experience working with adults in skilled-nursing facilities and
acted as an adjunct professor and lecturer for undergraduate students in the Communication Disorders program at SFSU. Diana also has supervised numerous 
graduate students as well as clinical fellows (CF). 

Currently, Diana works with students with complex communication needs that require AAC intervention. She also works with linguistically diverse students with learning disabilities and speech-language impairments. Diana's scope of Practice includes Autism Spectrum Disorders, Articulation Disorders, Phonological Disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Receptive and Expressive Language Disorders, Developmental Delays, Social Pragmatic Communication Disorders, and more. 

Diana's mission with Words To Share is bridging the gap between what students with Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) achieve at school and what they showcase at home and/or in the community. Diana believes in creating a comprehensive, holistic, child-led approach that supports the children's overall communication needs. Her constant goal when working with her clients is to target generalization of skills by using the latest evidence-based practice and family-centered approaches. Currently, Diana is accepting clients from age 2 and up.
